Frank has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, hands-on familiarity with most functions and departments of a successful medical device company. Starting out in R&D, he has worked his way through local and regional marketing, building and running sales teams in small entrepreneurial situations to larger community and hospitals teams. Focusing on commercial execution, incl. segmentation, targeting, sales force sizing, sales force training, CRM management, etc. he has internally consulted and coached many regions globally. He was one of the first sales leader to use video conferencing tools in conducting specialist sales calls.
He spent a large part of his career as Managing Director and Vice President, running large geographical regions and multi-disciplinary teams. He finally became President of the EMEA region.
In recent years he was Global Franchise President at Convatec Plc. for its Critical & Continence Care unit. As part of the executive leadership team he was responsible for mid- & long-term strategy, including product development and go-to-market strategies.
